STAFFFOUNDER/CEONilwona Nowlin, is a vocalist, playwright, author, actor and flutist. She has over 20 years of experience in the Arts, volunteering, and working with children and youth. As a student in the Chicago Public Schools system, she participated in a variety of extracurricular Arts programs.After graduating from Morgan Park High School, she studied music, theater and creative writing at Columbia College Chicago where she graduated (cum laude) with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She recently received a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management from North Park University.
Nilwona is currently working on a Master of Management in Non-Profit Administration from North Park University and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from North Park Theological Seminary. Her experience and skills have granted her access to a nationwide network of professionals in non-profit management and the Arts. This network will be instrumental in the process of selecting Dreams, Inc. program directors, instructors and assistants.
STAFFOur staff will consist of paid and volunteer workers who are experienced in their fields, work well with young people and pass a background check.
